Hi everyone,

So my friend Jo (or Jona as she's known to the blogging world) nominated me for the Liebster Award. 

I have no idea what that means either, but here are "The Rules":

1. Why’d you start blogging?

-Because I enjoy talking about myself entirely too much. Also, my mother wanted updates on my life.

-I don't really have one....

3. Favorite book?

-All of them. No seriously, we don't have room to list my favorite books. 

4. Bad habit you’re trying to kick?

-Staying up late. 7:30 classes are great incentive to break that one though.

5. What are you looking forward to most right now?

-A nap. :)

-Lots of things... Why can't we all just get along??

-Smart.

-I can put my foot behind my head. Be impressed. hahah

-Jeans. Always jeans.

The Hairs on My Head

Hello everyone,

So I got new hair today!

I was pretty excited. I've never dyed my hair before, but I was suffering from severe hair boredom (yes that is a thing) and I WILL NOT CUT IT. 

And bangs are always a bad idea. Well, not always, but they're painful to grow back out.

Anywho, this is before.

And this is after.

It's not super different, but I like it. I got some ombre parts in the front and balayage highlights throughout.

Yay for new hair!! (That isn't shorter.)

Sometimes I Cook

Hello everyone!

I'm back at school which means I'm back to cooking for myself!!

(....not sure how those !!! are meant....Am I angry or excited..? Maybe both...)

Anywho, food comes in entirely too large of packages for a college student to eat in a timely manner which means I have to repeat meals a lot in order to eat my food before it goes bad, and if I could eat all of it before it goes bad, I couldn't have it anyway since there is thismuch room in our kitchen. 

Yay, college. Yay, leftovers.... -_-

So in an effort to NOT have exactly the same thing every night I've been experimenting and cooking lots* of things: 

Lemon-Pepper Tilapia & Lemon Pasta

Spicy Tilapia & Vegetable Stir Fry

Fried Tilapia & Salad

*This is lots of things for me. Normally I'm either having Ramen Noodles or Spicy Ramen Noodles.

 Yeah, I realize that EVERY SINGLE ONE of those contains tilapia, but I'm not letting myself buy any other kind of meat until my pack of it is all gone.

It's taking a while....

On the plus side, these were all delicious. 

It's okay to drool a little.

Family Fiasco...er...I mean Family Pictures....

On New Year's Day we decided to take family pictures. I got a nice camera for Christmas (probably my favorite present) and we got matching outfits the Saturday before. Family pictures. No big deal right?

Not so much... I can't remember the last time we took family pictures. It may have never happened before....

Hmmm....

Anywho, it only took a few major meltdowns and some yelling but we did get some decent pictures out of it.
